Camilla Domenighini
Camilla Domenighini is an Early-Stage Researcher under the research group of Business and Law at the Faculty of Law at the University of Antwerp, Belgium. As part of the ETN – AUTOBarge, she will carry out research on the legal implications of the commercial use of autonomous barges for inland navigation, focusing specifically on the risk distribution along the contractual chain. As ESR15, her ultimate objectives are to rebalance the interests of traditional and new actors and to propose new solutions to avoid legal uncertainty.
She accomplished her Master’s degree in Law at the University of Bologna and an internship at the Port of Venice. Her thesis analysed investments in port infrastructures in Italy by non-EU investors within the Belt and Road Initiative.
She is very passionate about transport law and new technologies; she aims to cooperate with institutions and industries to make AI implementation in transportation legally feasible and successful.
